How to create Mailboxes in Mission Inbox?
Setting up your mailboxes in Mission Inbox is quick and flexible. Whether you’re adding just a few or setting up hundreds at once, the platform gives you options to do it manually, auto-generate usernames, or bulk upload with a CSV file.

Log in to your account
Start by signing in to your Mission Inbox account. -
Check that your domains are already available.
In your account dashboard, open the Domains tab and search for your domains. Make sure your domain is already added here before proceeding with the mailboxes. If your domain is not added, you can check how to add a domain here. -
Click “Add Mailbox”
Once your domain is set up, you’ll see the option to add mailboxes. Click the Add Mailbox button.

Choose how to add mailboxes
You have three options for creating mailboxes:-
Auto-generate usernames: Let Mission Inbox create them for you.

Enter usernames manually: Type each mailbox name yourself.

Bulk upload: Use this option if you need to add many addresses at once.

Note: If you use the CSV upload option, make sure your file follows the provided template format.

Save and confirm
After selecting your preferred method, save your changes to finish setting up the mailboxes.

Q: What’s the maximum number of mailboxes per domain or subdomain?

We recommend up to 3 mailboxes per root domain.

You can also set up 1 mailbox per subdomain (with a maximum of 5 subdomains per domain).

This helps maintain a clean sender reputation and makes it easier to track performance across campaigns.
Q: Can I create mailboxes before verifying my domain?

Yes, you can create mailboxes ahead of time.

However, they will not be able to send emails until the domain is fully verified with the correct DNS records.

The bulk mailbox creation option is not available for unverified domains.
Q: What happens if I enter a mailbox email address with spaces?

Email addresses cannot contain spaces.

The system will reject any address with accidental spaces at the beginning, middle, or end.
